Now it seems as if my facebook home page hasn’t notified me of a break up for years. The only updates I get on friends relationships are from those who get engaged and subsequently married.

I don’t understand why everyone posts ‘congratulations’ messages when these come up.  There should be more praise and attention given to those few individuals who end long term relationships while in their early 20s.  It seems to be a far more statistically interesting event that someone might find one of the few individuals out of the 6.8 billion on our planet that they cannot stand.

Americans are not ignorant.

It can just seem that way at times because other cultures are so incomprehensible.
